+–Lifeline Program
Basic residential service is available as a Lifeline service. Lifeline is a government benefit program which provides a monthly credit toward a qualified low-income subscriber’s telephone bill. +–Relay Iowa
Telecommunications relay service provides full telephone accessibility to people who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech impaired. Specifically trained Communication Assistants (CAs) process relay calls and stay on the line to relay conversations electronically, over a Text Telephone (TTY) or verbally to hearing parties.
The service, known as Relay Iowa, is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with no restrictions on the number of calls placed or on their length. This valuable communications tool gives all individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing or speech impaired the opportunity to make personal and business calls just like any other telephone user. Residential Unlimited Local Phone Service: *$14.00/month

Unlike answering machines, Voice Mail can take messages for you when you’re on the phone AND when you’re away from the phone. For your Voice Mail service to work, you must have Call Forwarding. We’ll be glad to show you how to set it up quickly and easily.
+–Caller ID Name & Number: $5.50/month
See the name and number of the person calling before you answer the phone. This is great for screening calls from callers with whom you don’t wish to speak, and it allows you to customize your greeting to customers, friends and family.
+–Call Waiting: $1.50/month
With Call Waiting, you’ll never miss another call just because you’re on the phone. Great for busy families and businesses.
+–Cancel Call Waiting: FREE with Call Waiting
Cancel Call Waiting is great for businesses who don’t want to be interrupted during an important call, or families who don’t want to be interrupted during a long distance call. Cancel Call Waiting is included free with Call Waiting service.
+–Call Forwarding: $1.50/month
Great for businesses, people with wireless phones and people who travel or who are away from home often. Call Forwarding lets you forward your calls to another phone number when you aren’t home or when your line is busy and you can’t answer. This protects you because no one will ever know that you’re not at home.
+–Speed Dial: $1.50/month
Quickly dial up to 30 of your most frequently called numbers by dialing just 2 numbers. Great for households with children or elderly residents who need a simple way to make a call in an emergency. It’s also great for businesses and busy families needing to save time on frequently dialed numbers.
+–Distinctive Ring/Teen Line: $1.50/month
Want to add another number without the cost of adding another line? With Distinctive Ring, it’s like having two phone numbers in one. You’ll get another phone number, which rings differently than your home phone number. You’ll even hear a different call waiting tone when you’re on the phone. This is great for home-based businesses, because your business phone number rings differently than your home phone number, so you’ll always know when you’re receiving business calls. It’s also great for fax lines.
+–Three-way Calling: $1.50/month
With three-way calling, you can conference call for only $1.50 per month! Talk to two people on one call, even if one is long distance. Great for a business needing to conference call or families who want to save time!

When you lift the handset, or press “talk,” if you haven’t dialed within 30 seconds your telephone will automatically dial a pre-programmed number. This is a very inexpensive way to keep senior citizens, and children safe.

Miss a call? Just dial *69 and the last person who called you will be called back.
*Customers in some areas will pay an additional $.50/month.

Tired of redialing busy numbers? Just dial *66 and the number will be redialed for you until it becomes available.

+–Anonymous Call Rejection: $1.50/month
With Anonymous Call Rejection, you’ll automatically reject all those calls designated as “anonymous.” You know the ones–-those calls that always seem to interrupt your dinner. In fact, with Anonymous Call Rejection, your phone won’t even ring! Use this feature in conjunction with the “Do not call” list for total privacy.
+–Selective Call Rejection: $1.50/month
This feature allows you to create a list of numbers you don’t want to accept calls from. (This feature works for local calls only). These callers receive a message that says you aren’t taking calls at this time. This feature shields your business and your family from undesirable phone calls.
+–Selective Distinctive Ring: $1.50/month
Only want to answer the phone for important calls? This feature allows you to create a special list of VIP phone numbers. When you receive calls from those phone numbers, your phone rings with a special ringing tone.
